In the city of Zhovkva, the Lviv region, an attack on a serviceman of the Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Acquisition and Social Support was committed. The incident happened on February 17 at about 11:45 pm on Lvivska Street.
This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional Tax Code and JV.
According to the Lviv OTC, the military accompanied two mobilized to the local hospital for passing the Military Medical Commission. During the movement, two unknown people attacked him. The attackers caused him cut wounds with a sharp object.
The probable cause of the attack was an attempt to help one of the mobilized escape. After the incident, this citizen has left the scene and is currently wanted.
Law enforcement officers have already opened criminal proceedings under Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional light bodily harm). An official investigation in the Lviv OFCC is also ongoing.
The department emphasized that evasion of military duty is not only a violation of the law, but also a manifestation of disdain for military people who are at risk of life at the front daily. Citizens of mobilization age were reminded of the importance of fulfilling the duty to the country and responsibility for escape from mobilization.
We will remind that at the Kiev school №309 during the celebration of Valentine’s Day, the students played a scene, in which they beat the man in military uniform with the inscription “TCC”.
Also recently in Kharkiv an unknown attack on the Armed Forces serviceman in the RTC and JV. The offender used a gas can and stabbed the man.
