The director of the enterprise in Lviv region became suspected of seizing property through abuse of office. He is charged with an overestimation of the cost of repair work in the military unit of Lviv, which led to illegal payments of almost UAH 700 thousand.
According to the investigation, during the repair of the building of one of the military units, the contractor documented the number and cost of the work performed, as well as the materials used. However, the works were not in fact done and the materials were not purchased. On the basis of these false data, the military unit paid a considerable amount of funds to the contractor.
The entrepreneur is chosen by a preventive measure in the form of collateral.
In addition, the prosecution was made for a military official who signed the acts of acceptance of the completed works without their verification. He has already directed an indictment on the fact of negligent attitude towards performing his duties.
Earlier, we wrote that on April 16, the panel of judges of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court began consideration on the merits of the former first Viceremer-Minister of Ukraine on the seizure and waste of budgetary funds in the amount of almost UAH 200 million.
We will also remind that the NAPC, together with the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office and ARMA, found a sign of illegal enrichment at the deputy of the Odessa City Council. During 2021-2024, the deputy, his family members and related individuals acquired unjustified assets for more than UAH 81.7 million.
