The investigation establishes other possible participants in the scheme.

According to the police, the 27-year-old head of the commercial structure was exposed in August last year. She promised, for a monetary reward, to facilitate the removal of conscripted men from the wanted list, their exclusion from the military register, as well as further reservation through formal employment at her enterprise, which has the status of critical importance for the economy and vital activities of the state.
The investigation established that the head of one of the commercial structures, a resident of the city of Boryspil, Kyiv region, was involved in the criminal activity. She demanded $26,000 for “resolving the issue” immediately regarding two conscripts.
“The woman received part of this amount – $19,000 – as a deposit through an intermediary, the rest of the funds were planned to be transferred later. During the transfer of the first part of the illegal gain, the law enforcement officers detained the suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine,” the message reads.
Investigators under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv specialized prosecutor’s office in the field of defense of the Central region informed the detainee of suspicion under part 2 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of influence.
Currently, the police have completed the investigation and submitted the indictment to the court. The accused faces up to five years in prison.
