The Security Service of Ukraine exposed another fact of unauthorized dissemination of information about the deployment and combat work of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

A local resident was detained in Kyiv, who “spilled” videos on the social network, on which the work of the capital’s air defense was recorded.
“Living on the top floor of a multi-apartment high-rise, the man recorded on his phone camera the location of Ukrainian air defense, which was “working” on Russian air targets,” the report says.
After that, the video was published in the Telegram group chat and on the Instagram page of the man’s company with a total of more than 13 thousand followers. In this way, the enemy could use “illuminated” geolocations to prepare new strikes on Kyiv.
The SBU-initiated examination confirmed the facts of illegal activity of the person involved. During the searches of the Kyiv resident’s residence, a smartphone with evidence of unauthorized filming and distribution of defense information was seized.
So far, SBU investigators have informed the suspect of suspicion under part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the deployment of the Armed Forces or other military formations during martial law). He faces up to 8 years in prison.
The Security Service once again emphasizes the ban on filming and publishing video and photo materials about the activities of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the consequences of Russian shelling.
“Dissemination of such information is regarded as the correction of enemy fire and is a crime punishable by law,” the SBU emphasized.
Earlier in Kyiv, the Security Service of Ukraine detained an agent who worked for the Russian and Belarusian special services.
