A 21-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi was detained in Kyiv, who was passing on information about the location of military units and the CHP to the representative of the Russian Federation.

The man was informed of the suspicion of treason committed under martial law (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, between September and November 2025, the suspect in the Telegram messenger met a representative of the Russian Federation, who turned out to be a military intelligence officer of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the aggressor country. For a reward, the guy agreed to collect and transmit information about the location of military facilities and CHP in Kyiv.
He was detained right next to the CHP plant, which he was filming on the order of the Russians. After the arrest, the young man asked to be included in the list for exchange and sent to the Russian Federation.
The suspect was remanded in custody. The sanction of the article provides for fifteen years of imprisonment or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.
Earlier, the Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained another FSB agent in Kharkiv. The enemy accomplice turned out to be a 19-year-old local resident, whose mother was exposed by the SBU in January for organizing a terrorist attack.
