In Kherson region, the suspicion of the deputy of the City Council Genichesk, who elected to the occupying “Council of Deputies” was reported.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional and Genichesk District Prosecutor’s Office, the deputy of the Genichesk city council from the prohibited PPZZ Party in Ukraine was informed in absentia of suspicion of voluntary election to illegal authorities,” – the message reads.
According to the investigation, a 58-year-old suspect, while in Occupied Genichesk, in September 2023 gave voluntary consent to include it in the Lists of the United Russia Party. As a part of this political force, he participated in the illegal elections in the so -called “Soviet of deputies of the generic municipal district of the first pine”.
After receiving the mandate, the man joined the “Standing Commission on Social Affairs”. As a “deputy”, he is actively working with the local population, promoting the occupying power.
The Office of the Prosecutor General informed that the suspicion was declared Sergey Bubnov, born in 1967, a native of Genichesk. Bubnov is also the head of the Genichesky District Public Organization of the Azov Taxi drivers.
The former law enforcement officer from Genichesk was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the State Council.
