During the operational measures, the district police officers were discovered by a 53-year-old resident of the region on Sich Sagittarius Street, who committed this misconduct.
The man pleaded guilty, after which he conducted a preventive conversation about the inadmissibility of such behavior. In addition, it was drawn up by an administrative protocol under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The Ivano-Frankivsk police appealed to citizens to comply with the norms of behavior in public places.
“The use of Nazi symbolism or corresponding gestures is illegal and unacceptable. Such actions can violate public order, insult the memory of the victims of Nazism and entail legal consequences, ”law enforcement officers said.
