In Ukraine, changes to legislation are being prepared, which should simplify the procedure for booking workers of the defense industry.
The deputies of the Verkhovna Rada proposed to supplement the Law “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization” with new norms that will allow critically important enterprises to hire specialists even without properly issued military accounting documents or without being registered in the Tax Code.
Such steps are due to a sharp shortage of specialists in defense factories, which provide the manufacture, repair and modernization of weapons and military equipment.
According to the law, defense enterprises will be able to enter into employment contracts with employees who have no or incorrectly executed military accounting document or who are not on military registration.
The probationary period for such employees will not exceed 45 days. It is during this period that they will be given “reservation” – temporary liberation from mobilization. If during this time the employee does not bring the documents in line with the requirements, the employer will have the right to dismiss him.
Critically important defense enterprises will be subject to reservation, even if they are not on military account, have not specified personal data or even on wanted.
The explanatory note to the bill states that the production of Ukrainian weapons cannot be provided by a limited range of specialists. That is why it is important to involve new employees, even if they do not have all the documents in order.
It is further emphasized that when booking, there are often situations where employees receive summons at the stage of reconciliation of military accounting or between the decision to recognize the enterprise with critical and actual booking.
Now the government allows you to book 100% of conscripted employees of enterprises, which are critical for meeting the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
All booking procedures are carried out exclusively in electronic format through the Action Portal. However, in order to avoid failures in the work of defense plants, legislators seek to make this process even more flexible.
We will remind, in Ukraine updated the order of reservation of conscripts from mobilization – now in the calculation include employees of critical enterprises, which were officially mobilized after May 18, 2024.
We also reported that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended the order of reservation of the military at the time of mobilization and martial law, increasing the amount of booking of employees of enterprises, institutions and organizations, determined by critically important for the needs of the Armed Forces and other military formations.
