The theft happened in the village of elections of Chernihiv region. The unknown broke the castle on the cellar of the local priest and stole four three -liter bacon banks and four liters, which stored the tar.
The priest immediately reported the incident to law enforcement officers who quickly identified the suspect.
He was a 37-year-old man who had previously had problems with the law and was under police supervision. He recently settled in the village, but has already caused suspicion to the locals.
The detainee did not deny his guilt and admitted the theft. Two days after the incident, all banks with bacon were returned to the owner. According to the priest, he forgave the attacker, because he genuinely repented and promised to correct his mistakes.
