In the Chernivtsi region, a law enforcement officer who helped conscripts illegally cross the border with Romania was detained.

“Starting from July 2024, he picked up those willing at the specified place and drove them in his own car to one of the villages bordering Romania. Then he personally, on foot through the forest, transferred the men across the border. The price of the service was 6,000 euros per person,” the message reads.
The perpetrator was detained on September 15 during the transfer of funds from one of those who wanted to leave the country. According to the sources of the “Ukrainian Pravda” publication in the law enforcement agencies, the border guard was detained.
The man was charged with illegal smuggling of persons across the state border (part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention with the possibility of bail.
“The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of up to 9 years,” – concluded the SBI.
Earlier it was reported that in the Rivne region, the headman and the law enforcement officer organized a scheme to evade mobilization for money. The men opened fictitious criminal cases against conscripts, and took about 100,000 hryvnias for their “service”.
In Kropyvnytskyi, the head of the Military Medical Commission (MMC) developed a “scheme” for the sale of “white” military tickets. Such a “service” cost from 2 to 10 thousand dollars.
Earlier, the former deputy head of the Volyn regional military administration and her accomplices were exposed for illegally transporting conscripts across the border. In total, they helped more than a hundred evaders.
