The Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine Michael Brodsky feels a serious difference in the perception of war from his experience of life in two warring countries. The Israeli representative does not feel one hundred percent safe in Kiev.

These impressions are diplomat shared In a big conversation with UA.news.

According to Brodsky, in Israel, anxiety lasts for a few minutes, sometimes up to half an hour. It is not such that the alarm lasts for several hours in a row, or at all for 12 hours, as is the case in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities.

Also in Israel in all new homes there is a special room that plays the role of bombos. In Ukraine, unfortunately, there is no such, and not everyone goes to shelters.

“However, Ukrainians can be understood when for almost 4 years there is a situation where many hours in a row, especially at night, are ongoing… I can not give any reasonable tips in this sense. Threats are different, and Ukraine faces today with the threats that no country in the world faces, including Israel. The intensity and duration of these threats is unprecedented. Ukraine is really on the front line, I do not know another country that would feel such frequent attacks with such a number of drones … Ukraine has accumulated a unique experience here, ” – confident Brodsky.

The ambassador notes that it does not feel completely safe while working in Kiev. However, during the years of fighting, he was already “accustomed to”.

“On the one hand, I understand that there is no storage and no safe rooms. On the other hand, when you have been in this situation for 4 years, you want-you want, but you get used to it and treat it as a routine or a more or less normal situation. So I cannot say that I feel safe here: you understand that the threats are very serious. You may get used to them. But still pleasant in this little ”, – summarized the diplomat.

Recall Israel very Interested The experience of the Armed Forces in the fight against drone attacks.

Michael Brodsky also told whether Tel Aviv would intervene in Kolomoisky’s business.
