In Hungary, the Tisza Opposition Party, headed by Peter Magyar, conducted a large -scale social survey called “Voice of the Nation”.
About it reports Karpathir.
The main issue of the questionnaire was the attitude of citizens to Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. The results showed that 58.18% of respondents expressed support for Ukraine’s membership in the EU, answering “yes” to the relevant question.
The survey also included the question of the future of Hungary in the EU and NATO. It turned out that the vast majority – 98.68% of participants – support the preservation of the country’s membership in these organizations.
The Chairman of the Tisa Party stated that in the event of a victory in the elections in 2026, the results of this survey will become the “cornerstone” of his government’s policy.
Despite the positive moods of the Hungarians on Ukraine, Peter Magyar recently made a controversial statement. He noted that Ukraine has no chance of becoming an EU member “in the next few decades”.
We will remind, the Government of Hungary has announced the start of the national consultation, in which citizens of the country are asked if they support Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
We have already reported that Hungary’s Justice Minister Benza Tuzhon announced that Hungary would leave the International Criminal Court (ICS). He said this at a closed meeting with the ambassadors last week.
