Today, on August 30, 2025, celebrate the Day of Aviation of Ukraine, and the believers honor the memory of the saints Alexander, Ivan and Paul, the Patriarchs of Constantinople.
Aviation Day of Ukraine was set in 1993, it is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of August.
In addition, today is celebrated:

Orthodox Christians remember three saints this day:
St. Alexander (about 314-337), which became the first Archbishop of Constantinople and a zealous defender of Orthodoxy from Arian heresy.
St. John VIII (1111–1134) – one of the most revered patriarchs in times after the great split between East and West.
St. Paul (340–350’s), who was elected several times by Patriarch of Constantinople. He was injured through Arian persecution and died in exile in Armenia.
