In Ukraine, since September 2025, free hot food for students in grades 5–11, who study in the front -line format in frontlines, will be introduced.
This was reported by Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovy.
According to him, the state moves to the second stage of the program of providing students with free lunches – in 2024 such support was given to students of grades 1-4 across the country.
About 800 million hryvnias will be allocated to the implementation of this year’s expansion from the state budget.
Recall that in Ukrainian schools this academic year integrate the topic of energy efficiency in the program of 4-11 grades.
The Ministry of Education and Science will also explain or close elementary schools against the background of educational reform.
