The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany made the largest one-time contribution for the entire period of operation of the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine, transferring EUR 160.11 million.
Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk announced this.
In addition to this tranche, the Fund received another 3 million euros from the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany. In total, during December 2025, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine attracted EUR 245 million in new contributions.
The Ministry of Energy noted that the funds received will be used to purchase equipment for Ukrainian energy companies, as well as to finance restoration work after Russian shelling of energy infrastructure.
The Ministry of Energy also reported that 38 countries have already provided assistance to the Fund. In addition to financial mechanisms, the energy sector of Ukraine receives international humanitarian assistance with equipment. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 1,995 humanitarian cargoes with a total weight of almost 26,000 tons have arrived in Ukraine, in particular for operational repairs and expansion of distributed generation capacities.
