German law enforcement officers detained it in December 2024.

At the international checkpoint “Krakivtsi” of the Lviv region, employees of the National Police of Ukraine transferred the suspect to the DBR investigators, who made procedural documents for its detention.
The former deputy head of the State traffic police of one of the regions together with his colleagues initiated an unscheduled inspection of the Poltava entrepreneur, in the process of falsified the act of inspection and introduced false information to him.
Subsequently, they sent to the entrepreneur a tax notification-decision with a reduced amount of value added tax, and a reduced amount of penalties for its non-payment.
These frauds allowed the entrepreneur not to transfer almost 1.3 million UAH of taxes to the budget. Having learned about the pre -trial investigation on the said fact, the official went beyond Ukraine in order to avoid criminal liability.
In August 2023, he was made on the international wanted list, and the issue of election of a detainee in custody in the form of detention was now being resolved.
Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR), with the assistance of the SBU, exposed on the bribe of the head of one of the units of the tax service of the Kirovograd region.
On suspicion of receiving the bribe of the DBR, the acting of the mayor of one of the settlements of Rivne region and the deputy of the city council detained. They demanded a bribe from the entrepreneur in the form of free transfer to them a land plot of 0.38 hectares worth more than UAH 1.3 million.
Law enforcement officers eliminated a large-scale corruption scheme in the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky City District Court of Odessa region. There, for $ 3.5 thousand, decisions were made that allowed men to avoid mobilization and go abroad.
