Germany is preparing a significant military aid package for Ukraine, which may be delivered in the first half of 2025. Germany is preparing a significant military aid package for Ukraine, which may be delivered in the first half of 2025. According to N-TV, the new deliveries will include:

  • 22 Leopard 1 main battle tanks.
  • 25 Marder infantry fighting vehicles.
  • The Iris-T SLM/SLS air defense system.
  • 16 howitzers.
  • Two additional Patriot launchers.
  • Seven anti-aircraft guns Gepard with 120 thousand ammunition.
  • 3.5 thousand armed drones from the Helsing company.
  • Six armed Sea-King helicopters.
  • 250 thousand artillery ammunition.

In addition, the transfer of additional weapons and equipment to strengthen the Ukrainian army is expected.

Before that, Germany had already provided a package of military aid to Ukraine. It included howitzers, cars and hundreds of drones.
