This was stated by the Armed Forces General Staff in response to the requests of the media on the possible new appointment of Sukharevsky.
“In the process of formation of the organizational core and further appointment of the management of the new Army Corps, various candidates of commanders with considerable combat experience were considered, in particular, the candidate of Colonel Vadim Sukharevsky. However, the information spread by some media regarding the relocation of Vadim Sukharevsky to another position in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not true. As of this time, Colonel Sukharevsky continues to fulfill his tasks in the position of commander of the forces of unmanned the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ”the message reads.
We will remind, in early February 2025 President Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved a plan of transition to a new organizational structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and creation of corps.
The composition of 18 army buildings was determined and commanders were appointed. These buildings will bring existing crews.
