According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, “cold weather with a temperature of 20-25° of frost at night, 12-17° of frost during the day; in Carpathians, Dnipropetrovsk Region, Donetsk Region and Luhansk Region, 15-20° at night, 9-14° of frost during the day; in the southern regions at night 9-14°, during the day 4-9° of frost; in the Crimea and Transcarpathia, 1-6° of frost at night and during the day (around 0° in places during the day in Transcarpathia). No precipitation, snow is expected only in the south-eastern part at night.”
Ice is forecast in places on the roads, so drivers and pedestrians should be careful. The wind is mainly from the north, 5-10 m/s, which makes the feeling of cold even stronger.
Cold weather without precipitation is also expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region: “the temperature in the region will be 20-25° at night, 14-19° of frost during the day; in the capital at night 21-23°, during the day 14-16° of frost.” Forecasters advise to keep warm and drive carefully on the roads.
