On April 1, an electronic office of military medical commissions will be opened in Ukraine. Conclusions on fitness or inability will be further issued in digital format.
The Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization of Ukraine Kateryna Chernororenko told this on Facebook.
“From April 1, the Ministry of Defense launches an electronic office for employees of military medical commissions. Now, after inspections of the VLK, conclusions are issued exclusively in electronic form in the medical information system of the Armed Forces, ”Chernororenko explained.
According to her, the update will allow Ukrainians not to go with rulings on suitability or inability and not to make it through the Tax Code, because the information in electronic form will be sent immediately to the register “Oberig”.
“As part of the second stage of the reform, we launch anonymousization, our citizens will undergo a medical examination in any civilian medical institution, where it is convenient for a person. It will look like a regular check up for a person. There will be nothing excessive and will not be connected with a campaign to the shopping center, nor with a campaign to the VLK, ”said the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense.
The Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization explained that medical data will be transmitted to the Ministry of Defense, where they will be processed in anonymous format.
According to her, the doctors who will evaluate this data will not be able to identify the person who determines the suitability or unsuitable service. She also noted that the digitalization of the process of military medical commissions will help reduce corruption risks and make the system more convenient for citizens.
