In the Kyiv region, the former high -ranking officials of one of the state institutions are suspected of official negligence, which led to the loss of state property for more than one million hryvnias.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, during his stay in a managerial position, the defendant contributed to the illegal transfer to the private property of the veterinary complex, which included a veterinary building and a garage. The complex was sold through auction as a small privatization object for a symbolic amount – less than 1300 UAH, although its real value exceeded one million.
After the equipment was detected, the officials acknowledged that the privatization of the complex was “false”, although this object was not subject to privatization at all.
Law enforcement officers – employees of the Department of Internal Security of the National Police, investigators of the DBR in Kiev and the Kiev Regional Prosecutor’s Office – documented the offenses. According to the results of the examination, the state caused losses of more than UAH 1 million.
The figures reported suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – official negligence. The sanction provides for up to 5 years of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions for up to three years.
