The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Georgy Tykhy said this at a briefing.
He stressed that these military are not related to the victory over Nazism, and the act itself is a manipulation and an attempt to distort the historical truth. He especially warned against the Parade of the Serbian military.
“Any foreign soldiers who plan to participate in this parade should be aware that they will be quite likely to be march side by side with people who committed war crimes in Ukraine. Not only the Russians have nothing to do with commemorating the feat of the winners over Nazism.
He recalled the huge contribution of Ukrainians to victory in World War II and millions of Ukrainian victims.
Russia is trying to diminish this role, explained the spokesman.
