During this week, frosts will be stored in Ukraine, but since the beginning of next week, their weakening is expected, in particular, daily temperature, which will switch to positive values.
This will cause snow cover. The atmospheric front passing through the country can cause light snow with a moderate wind, but no strong snowstorms are expected.
As of Tuesday, the snow cover is stored in the northern, central and partly eastern regions, but in the south and west it is already melting or practically absent. In particular, there is no snow cover in Lviv and Odesa region.
In the Kiev region, light snow is expected on Wednesday, including evening and on Thursday night, but the rainfall intensity will be insignificant and the snow cover will add a few centimeters.
Earlier, we wrote that on Sunday, January 26, two temperature records were recorded in Kyiv. This was the first maximum since the beginning of 2025.
