Severe frosts are temporarily receding, but strong wind and precipitation are still expected in Ukraine on February 6.
This is reported with reference to publication meteorologist and forecaster Natalka Didenko on Facebook.
According to the expert, severe frosts from our country “have receded so far”.
At the same time, the following processes take place:
- the moist and warmer Atlantic “sprinkles Ukraine with snow”;
- the wind from the opposition of the eastern anticyclone and the western cyclonicity – intensifies;
- air temperature – in some places already shows small “pluses”.
Didenko said that during the next day – February 6 – “given the opposition of eastern anticyclonicity and western cyclonic depression (not to be confused with mood or illness), the western process still wins.”
Because of this, it is expected in different regions of Ukraine:
- snow;
- wet snow
“In the west and south – with rain,” the meteorologist added.
Meanwhile weather without significant precipitation likely on Friday in the east of Ukraine.
“The wind remains southeast, strong, gusty,” the expert added.
Talking about the air temperature in Ukraine for the next day, the forecaster said that at night:
- in the east – from 8 to 12 degrees of frost is expected;
- in the north and in the center – from 3 to 8 degrees of frost;
- in the west and south – the warmest – close to zero.
Meanwhile during the day the air temperature will be:
- on average in Ukraine – about 2-7 degrees of frost;
- in the west and south – from 1 degree of frost to 3 degrees of heat;
- in Transcarpathia and Crimea – about +2+8 degrees Celsius.
In Kyiv Didenko predicts for tomorrow:
- snow (sometimes);
- southeast wind (strong, gusty);
- air temperature at night and during the day – about 3-6 degrees of frost.
In the future, according to the specialist, the weather in Ukraine will be comparatively warmer.
At the same time, precipitation is expected.
“From February 9 to 11, a cold weather is expected, another anticyclone, let it affect! It should be easier after that,” Didenko concluded.
Snow, frost and ice are expected in Kyiv, a warning has been issued.
