The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns that the temperature will drop to -22 degrees in the northern regions, while in the east the week will begin with a short thaw. The situation on the roads can be complicated due to blizzards and ice caused by active atmospheric fronts.

On Monday, January 12, snowy weather will prevail in most regions of Ukraine. Sleet with rain is possible in the east, and a slight clearing is possible in the north and center.
The thermometer columns during the day will show:
- in the northern regions – from -10 to -18 degrees;
- in the eastern regions – from 0 to +2 degrees;
- in the central regions – from -8 to -16 degrees;
- in the southern regions – from +1 to -8 degrees;
- in the western regions – from -8 to -16 degrees.
On Tuesday, January 13, precipitation in the form of snow is possible in the west of the country, as well as in the east, in the rest of the regions it will be sunny. It will be warmest in the southern regions.

- in the northern regions – from -13 to -20 degrees;
- in the eastern regions – from -9 to -16 degrees;
- in the central regions – from -10 to -18 degrees;
