For the first time, Ukrainian manufacturers of unmanned technologies will be able to participate in tenders organized by the Drone Coalition within the framework of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine (“Ramstein” format).

As stated in the message, the series of tenders includes two lots: for the production of advanced FPV drones and interceptor drones. Ukrainian companies are invited to participate in these tenders for the first time, which is an important step to support domestic production.
“To participate in the tender, manufacturers need to register on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain and submit their applications. Proposals for FPV drones are accepted until October 14, and for interceptor drones – until November 11,” the ministry said.
All submitted applications will be reviewed by members of the Drone Coalition, after which the winners will be chosen.
Companies that win the tenders will receive orders for the production of drones for further testing and evaluation. In the case of successful test results, a large-scale order of FPV drones from the winning companies is planned.
“The goal of this coalition is to ensure the industrial production of FPV drones to create a long-term technological advantage over the enemy. It is important not only to scale up production in the West, but also to support Ukrainian companies capable of producing such equipment. Therefore, for the first time, we are involving domestic manufacturers to participate in tenders,” said Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization.
Earlier, Great Britain announced that it would join the drone coalition created by Latvia in support of Ukraine.
The Netherlands then joined the international coalition of drones for Ukraine. The country will also provide our state with advanced drone technology to strengthen its offensive capabilities in the war against the Russian Federation.
