This was stated by the Deputy Director of the Association of Energy and Natural Resources of Ukraine Andriy Zakrevsky on the air of Espresso.
“From tomorrow, it is necessary to engage in imports, it is necessary to finish the situation with Ukrnaftoburning and Smart Energy. Because we will need every cube of natural gas and we need to expect an increase in electricity prices this year, which has long been delayed. And on gas, ”Zakrevsky said.
According to him, many problems can solve the opening of the energy market.
“The easiest thing to do is – it is just necessary to move to the open market. Then the state would be able to put these obligations at all to the expense of gas purchase and so on. People are not idiots, they see the difference in price for gas and gas electric generation, you just have to trade quietly, ”Zakrevsky said.
The expert urged to allow private companies to export gas and connect to power grids. According to him, private companies should be allowed to quietly connect to the electricity nets, then we will win.
He added that in Ukraine continues to remain a permanent power deficit – about 4 GW. However, he said, consumers are gradually adapting.
“Even this winter, as I predicted, we adapt, we begin to create less peaks and have passed this autumn and winter period,” the expert said.
Recall that two weeks before Easter, the cost of reducing the cost of food is only shown by the grocery, and dairy products, chicken and most vegetables continue to rise. It is expected that in the next two weeks prices for key Easter products will remain either at the current level or have slight fluctuations.
