Within the largest full -scale war, 1000 Ukrainians have returned home between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, including five DTEK Energo workers who defended the country in the forefront.
According to DTEK, the exchange took place on May 23-25, 2025 as a result of agreements during negotiations in Istanbul.
The released were miners Anton Kobets and Stanislav Tretyakov, Minek, Sergey Zemlyany, machinery of underground installations Vitaliy Yavorsky and energy Dmitry Schitra.
DTEK noted that for these colleagues the captivity period was extremely difficult, but their indomitability and faith helped to withstand and return home. The company greeted them with release and expressed pride for the courage and dedication to Ukraine.
