According to the newspaper, the accused during the meeting demanded to make consideration closed if the telephone conversations of his parents would be investigated. But the prosecutor stated that Zinchenko’s conversations with other persons, especially with companions.
In particular, in court they read the text of Zinchenko’s dialogue with the singer they were conducting in Russian. When asked why Zinchenko killed Farion, and he did it for money or because of patriotism, he stated that the murder had occurred on the basis of personal hostility and added that he was angry with the statements of linguistics against Russian -speaking Ukrainians.
Zinchenko himself, after reading the transcript, said that this entry could not be considered proof in the case, since the statement was made under pressure.
“I said it under pressure to get away from me. This is not true, ”he told judges.
Zinchenko’s protection, for his part, added that he demands the installation of persons who were in the camera with the defendant. The next court session will be held on September 2, it will be interrogated directly by the accused.
