In 2022, the amount of such benefits amounted to UAH 2.8 billion, in 2023 it increased to UAH 8.1 billion, in 2024 it reached UAH 10.6 billion, and in 10 months of 2025 it already amounts to UAH 14.5 billion.

Among the electric cars imported to Ukraine in 2025, the most popular brands are BYD, Volkswagen and Zeekr.
The luxury ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE was the most expensive electric car imported to Ukraine this year. The total value of the three cars amounted to UAH 56.4 million, while benefits for customs payments amounted to UAH 11.2 million.

The largest volume of electric cars is supplied to Ukraine from China. In 2025, the value of imported electric cars from China reached UAH 25 billion in 10 months.
In second place in terms of import volume is the USA, from where electric cars worth UAH 14.8 billion were imported into Ukraine. Third place is occupied by Germany with imported cars worth UAH 11.7 billion.
The Cabinet of Ministers refused to take into account the proposal supported by the People’s Deputies to extend the benefits for the import of electric cars during the finalization of the draft law “On the State Budget for 2026” until the second reading.
