The Office of the Prosecutor General has completed the pre-trial investigation of the case of the Excommerce 211 of the Ponton-Brigade of Supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine upon the inaction of military power committed in martial law or in a combat situation. On the basis of the investigation, criminal proceedings were unveiled.

The investigation found that the excander did not respond to the facts of inhumane treatment and torture his subordinate servicemen. Knowing that the platoon commander subordinate to him from February to July 2024 exceeded his powers and mocked subordinate soldiers, did not initiate the issue of bringing the officer to justice.
The 211 pontoon brigade is currently in custody and the defense party has been informed of the opening of criminal proceedings for review.
The pre -trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation.
