Kuleba emphasized that such transport projects are part of the security not only of Ukraine, but also of the European Union. “Every euro invested in Ukraine’s transport system is a contribution to the stability and protection of the EU’s borders… After all, today Ukraine is the security belt of Europe,” he noted.

The project is part of a broader strategy for the integration of the Ukrainian railway system into the European transport space, will contribute to the development of logistics, increase the efficiency of trade and strengthen physical connections with the main transport corridors of the EU.

Kuleba thanked the European Commission for its support, recalling that two months ago the first Eurotrack in the modern history of Ukraine was opened between Chop and Uzhgorod, which was already used .
