On January 6, a joint divine liturgy of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Metropolitan Epiphany of Kyiv and All Ukraine will take place in Phanar, in the Patriarchal Church of St. George. This celebration of the Epiphany of our Lord Jesus Christ will be an important event of church life, which demonstrates the liturgical community and spiritual unity between Ukraine and the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

After the end of the liturgy, there will be a ceremony of great consecration of water, and the celebrations will continue with the traditional consecration of the waters of the Golden Horn Bay on the Phanar embankment, which will be held jointly by the leaders. This ritual has a long tradition and symbolizes purification, spiritual renewal and blessing for all believers.

This event also emphasizes the importance of cooperation and support between the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Ecumenical Patriarchate, demonstrating that church unity and common prayer are of great importance not only for Ukraine, but also for the entire Orthodox world.
