Emergency power outages have been canceled in Kyiv and some regions, in particular in Kyiv Oblast and Odesa Oblast.
It is reported Telegram DTEK
This information was confirmed by the DTEK company, which noted that the population will be informed separately about changes in electricity supply schedules. Emergency shutdowns were introduced on October 16 due to the state of the power system, damaged as a result of Russian attacks.
At the same time, Ukrenergo reported that starting from October 17, they will continue to apply capacity limitation schedules for industrial facilities throughout Ukraine. These restrictions will last from 07:00 to 22:00, while domestic consumers will not yet experience any negative effects.
It is predicted that rapid restoration work will help reduce the electricity shortage in Ukraine, although the passage of the heating season 2025-2026 may prove difficult.
In the afternoon of October 16, emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv and the region.
