The purpose of introducing restrictions is to stabilize the energy system in conditions of increased load on it. The schedules will operate simultaneously throughout the country in the specified time period.
The Ministry calls on businesses and citizens to save electricity, stressing the importance of supporting the power system during this period.
The reason for the introduction of restrictions was difficulties in the operation of electrical networks, which were aggravated by the attack of Russian troops.
As a reminder, restrictions on electricity may be imposed in Ukraine due to enemy attacks.
Ukrainians will also have their heating turned on for ten days.
