In Slavutych, Kyiv region, electricity supply was partially restored after an enemy attack. A third of the city currently has electricity thanks to a backup line, but it is unstable. The mayor urged residents to use electricity sparingly and be careful with powerful devices. This was announced by the mayor of the city Yuriy Fomichev.
The mayor of Slavutych, Yury Fomichev, said that the power engineers have already connected a backup line, thanks to which a third of the city received electricity. At the same time, he emphasized that this line is unstable, and predicting how long it will last is difficult due to current conditions.
“Approximately three hours from the start of switching on, we will switch another third of the city. Please be understanding. Energy workers are working and doing their best,” Fomichev noted. The mayor also appealed to residents to use light sparingly. He advises not to turn on powerful electrical appliances at the same time and to be conscious of electricity consumption to avoid overloading the backup line.
We remind you that the partial restoration of light is a temporary measure. While the main grid has yet to be restored after the attack, residents are advised to remain calm and conserve energy.
