In the final stage of the large -scale exchange of prisoners in the format of 1000 to 1000, they did not release any civilian Ukrainian who has been held captive for eight years.
Former Isolation prisoner and writer Stanislav Aseev reported on his Facebook page.
“The final stage of the great exchange of prisoners took place – and it does not have any of the civilians who have been sitting for eight years. Eight years. The list of hostages I handed over to the President Zelensky in January 2020-remained a list, ”Aseev emphasized.
According to him, most of these people are now held in the strict regime # 32 in Makiivka, where they were transferred from “isolation” and other imprisonment.
Some of them, as Aseev notes, helped Ukrainian special services even when society mostly ignored the events in the Donbass.
“I do not know if there is someone who is in captivity longer than them. And I do not want to compare the suffering, because it is impossible either morally or objective. But captivity is an objective measure. And if the state returns civilians, then it is unacceptable to ignore those who sit for the longest, ”he added.
Aseev stressed that for Russia these prisoners are of no value, so the main question is whether they remain valuable for Ukraine.
Earlier, we wrote that on May 25, the third stage of the exchange “1,000 per 1,000” ended. Among the released from Russian captivity within the third stage of large -scale exchange were 33 defenders of Azovstal.
Recall that May 24 Ukraine and Russia ConductedAnother exchange of prisoners in 1000 per 1000 format. A large -scale exchange of the Russian invasion of 2022 will be divided into three days.
