As he reported with reference to the data of the Institute of Fisheries, the amount of damage caused as a result exceeds UAH 21 billion.
It should be reminded that in the Russian city of Totkino, the local sugar mill dropped the impurities into the Seimas River, which caused water pollution by organic matter. From there, the poison got into the gums. Losses of the environment in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions due to the pollution of the Seim and Desna rivers exceeded UAH 405 million.
