In December, DTEK energy workers restored electricity to more than 5 million Ukrainian families whose homes were left without electricity due to enemy shelling. Most of the work with de-energized networks was carried out in Odesa and Donetsk regions, where enemy attacks were particularly active. This is stated in the message of DTEK.

In Odesa, power companies managed to turn on the light in 1.7 million homes, and in Donetsk region – in 1.6 million families. Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast also remained at the center of attacks: electricity supply was restored to 771,000 homes in the capital and almost 400,000 in Kyiv Oblast.

Dnipropetrovsk region, especially the southern regions, constantly suffers from rocket attacks and shelling. In December, power companies managed to restore electricity to 595,000 families of local residents. DTEK emphasizes that the team worked around the clock to minimize the consequences of the attacks and provide people with electricity even in the most difficult conditions.
