On the night of October 19-20, SBU, SSO, and GUR drones struck the Sverdlov plant in the city of Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation), NV sources in the Ukrainian special services reported.
According to Ukrainian officers, the enterprise is a component of the Russian military-industrial complex and is subject to EU and US sanctions, as the plant’s products are used to wage war in Ukraine.
At this plant, the Russians produce explosives, aviation and artillery shells, aviation bombs, including anti-aircraft missiles, warheads of cumulative anti-tank guided missiles, warheads for anti-aircraft missile systems. The distance from the Ukrainian border to the plant is 900 kilometers.
“The SBU worked on strengthening the sanction against the Sverdlov plant. We added drones to the economic sanctions, which have an immediate effect. Work on reducing the enemy’s military capabilities will continue.” — reported NV an informed source in the Ukrainian special services.
