Counterintelligence of the Security Service and the National Police detained the agent of the Russian special services, which at the request of the enemy had to commit a series of terrorist attacks in the northern regions of Ukraine.

To do this, the enemy lured the Ukrainian warrior in one of the capital’s yards under the guise of a “date” with a girl from a “chat for dating”.
When the military arrived at the location, the racists remotely blew up a homemade explosive device (SVP), which was located in a scooter parked next to the “date of date.” No one was injured.
According to the case file, a 19-year-old resident of Kyiv region was a hostile agent, who sought “easy earnings” on telegrams.
After recruitment, the agent arrived in Kiev, settled in a rented apartment and, according to the instructions of the curator, made explosives.
Then the involvement was purchased by a scooter, in the trunk of which he hid the SVP, and sent him to the place of the planned terrorist attack.
After an unsuccessful attempt, the agent received a new task: to come to the city of Pryluky in Chernihiv, settle in the hotel and prepare for new tasks. One of them was the arson of a military car, and the other was the preparation of a new terrorist attack.
Law enforcement officers detained the defendant “in hot pursuit” immediately after the fire of the car.
During the search, the detainee seized the components to the SVP and a phone with evidence of work on the enemy.
Investigators of the SBU reported the agent of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act). The attacker faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The complex measures were carried out by the SBU staff in Kyiv and Kyiv region together with the National Police for procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
Earlier in Kiev in Obolon district, an armed attack on a man occurred on March 26, and the killer was detained.
Also in Kyiv, three more participants in the conflict with the shooting at the hotel in Pechersk were suspected. The incident was killed by a man, two more were injured.
