DBR employees reported suspicion of the President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine for illegal use of budgetary funds. He arranged his driver at once up to four state agro -enterprises, controlled by him.

In fact, the driver did not work there, but only drove the President of the NAAS on a business car of one of the businesses.
In 2020, NAAS President personally approved staffing paintings, knowing that the same driver appeared in each of the enterprises. This made it possible to pay a salary for a job that was not actually not.
As a result of these actions, the budget paid money for fictitious work.
The investigation considers the actions of the President of the NAAS as an assistance in the waste of state property by prior conspiracy (Part 3 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In June 2025, the DBR employees searched the defendants of the case.
NAAS President was reported suspicion. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved.
