Energy company DTEK will receive critical equipment from Croatia for the restoration of damaged power plants.
This was reported by the press service of DTEK.
The Croatian government has decided to transfer specialized equipment from decommissioned Croatian power plants to the Ukrainian energy company.
This equipment will be used to repair energy facilities damaged by more than 220 Russian strikes.
Croatia is among the limited number of countries that can provide Ukraine with equipment compatible with the domestic energy system. This makes Croatian assistance especially valuable in the context of large-scale destruction of the energy infrastructure.
DTEK General Director Maksym Timchenko emphasized the importance of this support right now, when the temperature drops to minus 20 degrees.
“DTEK expresses deep gratitude to the Republic of Croatia for supplying vital energy equipment to Ukraine at such a critical moment this winter,” Timchenko said.
He emphasized that at a time when Russia is intensifying attacks on civilian infrastructure, Croatian aid is directly helping to restore electricity to millions of Ukrainians.
We will remind you that in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the occupiers attacked the DTEK unit.
DTEK also restored electricity to millions of families after enemy attacks.
