Crisis in the power system: how the blackout schedules will work

As of October 27, hourly blackouts began to operate in Ukraine, which was the result of an emergency situation in the power system. Emergency shutdowns were announced in connection with Russian strikes on energy facilities, which led to the blackout of consumers in several regions, in particular in the Sumy, Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

“Ukrenergo” stated that the submitted outage schedules can be from 1 to 2.5 hours, but the cancellation of the outages depends on the stabilization of the situation.

Kyiv also switched to hourly schedules, which began to operate from 10:00. Residents of the capital can get information about their shutdown schedule through the “Kyiv Digital” application and other resources. For example, in the Poltava region, outages will last from 3:30 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., and information about the outages can be found on the websites of regional energy companies.

Kyiv

As reported by DTEK, Kyiv was switched to hourly power outages.

According to the data of the “Kyiv Digital” application, hourly blackouts in the capital began to operate from 10:00 a.m. It is noted that one group will be without light approximately until 1:30 p.m.

It is worth reminding that Kyiv residents can find out about their schedule of hourly outages using several methods, namely in YASNO and DTEK.

Poltava region

Hourly blackouts have also been introduced in the Poltava region. There schedules will be valid from 15:30 to 23:59. GPV was introduced in the amount of 1 shift.

Dnipropetrovsk region

At the command of “Ukrenergo”, we are moving to stabilization schedules of outages in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Cherkasy region

According to the team of NEC “Ukrenergo”, on October 27, from 11:00 a.m., hourly blackout schedules will be applied in the Cherkasy region.

The schedule of hourly electricity blackouts will be in effect in the Kirovohrad region.

HPVs are introduced in the volume of 1 phase, according to the team from NEC “Ukrenergo”.
