Kyiv police have started a criminal investigation into a fatal road accident in the Holosiiv district.

It is noted that the law enforcement officers established that the 38-year-old bus driver, moving along Akademik Zabolotny Street, ran into Niva and Mitsubishi cars, which stopped to repair one of the cars that broke down while driving. After a collision with vehicles, the bus went off the road in an uncontrolled state.
The passenger of the Niva car died at the scene. Four people, the drivers of the bus and two other cars and a passenger of the Mitsubishi, received serious injuries and were hospitalized.
We will remind that in the Chernivtsi region from November 1, traffic through the Shurdyn mountain pass will be closed, traffic will be restored on April 1, 2025.
