According to militiamen, the employees of the Tax Code accompanied the serviceman to the part. When the man was removed from the bus, he began to resist, which attracted the attention of passers -by. One of them-a 44-year-old citizen-attacked a serviceman and caused him bodily harm.
Police have opened criminal proceedings on the offense against an official. The detainee faces up to five years in prison.
A video of the incident appeared on the network, which shows the accumulation of people near the dark red bus. In the comments, eyewitnesses write that during the clash in the car there were broken doors. At the end of the video, one of the men sits on the asphalt – his condition and participation in the conflict remain unknown.
In the Kharkiv Regional CCC, the incident was called the result of “aggressive actions of citizens” and stated that the military acted within the law.
“No unlawful acts on the part of the CCC employees have been established by preliminary inspection. The incident arose solely because of the unjustified actions of civilians, which posed a threat to the life and health of our servicemen, ”the department said.
The Tax Code reminded that military personnel who are mobilized or alerted by military personnel are officials. In this regard, any attempt to interfere with their work or apply violence will have legal consequences.
The command promised to cooperate with the investigation and urged citizens to refrain from unjustified conclusions.
