According to him, the Mavic Chinese drones, which were previously actively used on the battlefield by the Ukrainian side, are now available to the Russian military, but have become inaccessible to Ukrainians. Zelensky emphasized that Beijing not only stopped supplying UAVs to Kiev and EU countries, but also has production facilities in the territory of Russia where Chinese representatives work.
“The drone is open to the Russians, but closed to Ukrainians,” the President said.
The DJI Mavic Drones are known as aerial photography, but are actively adapting for military needs – observation, artillery adjustment and explosion. On the front, these UAVs became a critical tool that influenced the change of combat tactics.
Bloomberg also quotes an anonymous European official confirming the words of Zelensky: China reduces the supply of not only drones but also key components, including magnets for engines, in the direction of Western countries. Instead, the export of such details to Russia is increasing.
A few days ago, Zelensky also stated that China citizens work at Russian shock drones. According to him, these UAVs are then used by Rosarmia for attacks in Ukrainian cities.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia is constantly rejecting the proposed areas for future negotiations through the policy of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
