The first deputy minister of social policy of family and unity of Ukraine, Lyudmila Shemelinets, gave the explanation on the air of the telethon, reports RBC-Ukraine.
According to her, on January 1, 2026, a law came into force in Ukraine, which provides for a one-time aid from the state in the amount of 50 thousand hryvnias upon the birth of a child. You can get this help for the mother in two ways:
- submit an application to the Pension Fund;
- issue an application through the “eMalyatko” service, which is available in “Dia”.
“Since the technical implementation of the program may take some time, if you want to issue assistance today, then you need to contact the Pension Fund,” Shemelynets said regarding the nuances of payment processing.
“Winter support” – more than 370,000 Ukrainians have already received ₴6,500 each.
The Cabinet of Ministers also extended “Natskeshbek” and “Winter support” until the middle of 2026.
More than a million citizens of Ukraine have already issued a payment within the framework of the state program “Winter Support 2025” through Ukrposhta.
