New details have emerged in the case of Viceremier-Minister of National Unity of Chernyshov. In an exclusive comment for UA.News Chernyshov answered the question where he would take funds to make bail if the court has made such a decision.

On June 25, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court considers the election of a preventive measure for Chernyshov. Prosecutors of the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office insist on a pledge of UAH 120 million, without detention.
The investigation suspects Chernyshov of abuse of office and receiving undue benefits. According to NABU, he, together with other officials, organized a scheme for transferring the capital land to the developer at a reduced price.
As a result, the state could have undergone more than one billion hryvnias. Chernyshov himself stressed in court that the accusations did not have any real basis, and the events in the case took place more than three years ago.
Chernyshov’s defense insists that the damage to the state is only hypothetical, and the amount of collateral is based on non -existent losses. Lawyers believe that there are no grounds for the election of such a strict preventive measure, since no loss was caused.
At the same time, prosecutors point out that Chernyshov returned to Ukraine voluntarily and appeared to NABU on a call, which became the basis for the request for pledge, not detention.
We will remind, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court considered on June 27, but in the morning did not resolve the issue of election of a preventive measure of Viceremier-Minister-Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernyshov, who is accused of abuse of office and receiving undue benefit.
