In Ukraine, new rules are introduced during the curfew, allowing citizens to leave without special passes and use transport to access support points.
Deputy Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted that these measures are necessary to support those who are left without electricity, water or heat. The principles of movement during a curfew are similar to those that apply during an air raid.
Shmyhal stressed that the police are stepping up patrolling the streets to maintain order and help citizens.
Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba previously confirmed that the curfew regime will not be canceled, but adjustments are possible in case of long-term power outages.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi also promised that decisions on changes in the curfew regime will be made in accordance with the situation in different regions. The government has assured that the simplification of the rules will be implemented only with the agreement of the military command.
